Music Faculty

JR Remke is a seasoned not-for-profit financial professional with over thirty years of progressive and varied experience in this field.  During his career to date, he has been the primary contact on over 20 audits (both financial statement and Single Audit); run daily general ledger operations including month- and year-end processes and prepared the resulting financial statements; managed finances of over $100M in federal and private awards; acted as software administrator on multiple packages; and has strived to demystify finances to allow program staff to feel more confident in their abilities to understand their operating responsibilities.  Coming to VanderCook College of Music allows him to apply these talents in a setting that aligns with music, one of his passions.
