Paul Cepela

Admissions Assistant

Paul Cepela serves as an Admissions Assistant at Vandercook College of Music. He is a VanderCook Alumnus, an Illinois-licensed music educator, and a flutist whose work centers on helping students and families navigate pathways in music education with confidence.

For 11 years, Paul taught music in Chicago, building and sustaining a broad program that included wind ensembles, guitar, music history, and K-12 musical productions. He has also worked for The Midwest Clinic, supporting large-scale music education events and led contemporary worship services with local churches for much of the last decade.

Paul earned his Bachelor of Music Education from VanderCook (’13) and previously completed an Associate of Arts at Joliet Junior College with honors. During his time at VanderCook, he served as president of the National Band Association chapter and is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. At VanderCook, Paul is proud to support recruitment efforts and help prospective students feel welcomed, informed, and encouraged.
