Dr. Najeem Gbadamosi is an adjunct instructor at VanderCook, where he teaches Psychology and Social Justice & The Community courses to undergraduate students. He has also enjoyed success teaching at local colleges before joining VanderCook in 2016. Najeem earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Dominican University, and an executive certificate with a concentration in Business Administration from Strayer University in Washington D.C. Najeem also earned his master’s degree in Psychology, with a concentration in Industrial Organization Psychology, and his PhD in Community Psychology, at National Louis University. He has experience in both ground campus and online learning environments, and prides himself with getting students involved, participating, and interacting with one another. In addition to teaching at VanderCook, Najeem is dedicated to promoting education and leadership development among youth and their communities and has enjoyed being a mentor to dissertation students, and undergraduate students from various backgrounds. His professional affiliations include SCRA and American Psychological Association. In addition to his affiliations, he is the author of “Elements of Urban Youth Stress: A Comparative Study of African -American and Nigerian Urban Youth.”
