Senior, Marlee Wilde, Recipient of a Lincoln Academy Student Laureate Award.

CONGRATULATIONS MARLEE WILDE!  VanderCook College of Music is proud to announce that Senior Marlee Wilde was named a Lincoln Academy Student Laureate Award recipient for 2014.  This award is for college seniors who have demonstrated excellence in their academic studies while enriching the college community through work in extra curricular and service areas.  She received this award on Saturday, November 1st during  ceremonies in Springfield.
Ms. Wilde is a graduate of Princeton, IL High School where her director was VanderCook Alumnus, Brandon Crawford (BMEd 2005).  Marlee is a voice major, who also serves as the president of collegiate chapter of American Choral Directors Association and the undergraduate representative of the student senate.  The award carries with it a commemorative certificate, medallion, and a $1,000.00 educational grant.
VanderCook could not be prouder!  Way to go Marlee.
