Air on a G Suite: Google Tools for Music Education

with Google Level 1 Educator Certification

Google Suite for Education provides a range of tools that can be used by music educators to create more creative and productive classrooms. Using these resources allows students to efficiently and effectively learn in a collaborative environment while gaining valuable career skills. This course will provide an overview of all Google tools, present applications in the music classroom, introduce integrated music software, and will end with Google Level 1 Educator Certification.

John-MlynczakJohn Mlynczak offers an extensive range of experiences in music education. Mlynczak is the Director of Educational Technology for Noteflight, a Hal Leonard company. Previously, he served as Director of Education for PreSonus Audio. Mlynczak has taught music, music technology and music business at the elementary, secondary and collegiate levels. He is an active performer, maintains a steady clinician schedule in music technology, and is president-elect of the Technology Institute for Music Educators. Mlynczak is a passionate advocate for music education, serving on the NAMM Support Music and State Advocacy Coalitions and the NAfME Advocacy Leadership Force, and is Advocacy Chairman for the Louisiana Music Educators Association. Mlynczak holds degrees in music education, music performance and educational leadership.
