It’s time for our thidrd biennial FAME Conference in Chicago! It is sure to be the most outstanding FAME conference yet! Featured headliners include Move It! co-creator and Martha Graham dancer, Peggy Lyman-Hayes; co-author of The Book of Movement Exploration and Laban specialist Jane Kahan; and other music education legends including Sister Lorna Zemke, Martha Riley and Nick Page - a veritable powerhouse of educational talent. In addition, you'll enjoy 20 sessions presented by experienced master teachers who will demonstrate applications/insights of First Steps in Music and Conversational Solfège. All this is presented at the convenient Chicago Marriott Midway with free shuttle service to and from Midway Airport. Join in the excitement and find thoughtful and energetic fellowship with others who share the 30-year plan for a more tuneful, beatful and artful world.

Exit Requirements
Credit: To earn graduate credit for the 2018 MECA Continuing Education Retrospectives, participants must attend 12.5 hours (60-minute clock hours) of sessions per credit hour.
Course Exit Requirements: PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY!
A notebook summarizing and critiquing all sessions attended must be compiled. The notebook should include copies of all handouts, programs and any other supporting materials. Completed notebooks should be mailed to Patrick Benson, Director of Professional and Continuing Education, at the address below for evaluation and grading.
Notebook Guidelines (required):
● Three-ringed notebook
● Tabbed dividers - quantity that is appropriate for all materials/sections
● Include a title page stating course number and title, your name, address, phone, email address, and the term (Summer 2018).
● Table of Contents
● Page numbers
● All information must be typed and neatly formatted in a manner befitting graduate credit.
● Handwritten work will not be accepted.
● Full sentences, and correct grammar and spelling are required.
● All handouts and supporting materials must be included.
● Please make sure all materials are secure in the binder before mailing.
Registration/Notebook Due Date: Please submit registrations and notebooks to Patrick Benson, postmarked no later than one month after the last day of the event.
