Explore the artful integration of Orff Schulwerk, Kodály and eurhythmics to create a classroom environment that fosters developing appropriate musical skills and concepts. An emphasis will be placed on balancing the aesthetic experience with cognitive understanding using structures for student-created works of art through composition and improvisation. Teachers enrolled in this course will create their own lessons based on the Purposeful Pathways model and leave with a collection of new lessons created by all members of the class.
