DESCRIPTION: Nationally celebrated composer and clinician Molly Ijames guides you through the most inspiring new music for adult choir, including seasonal, general and special-occasion anthems. Plan and prepare for your entire church year! In addition, come early to attend one of our free special interest sessions for sacred music ministry.

Thursday July 21 – Elementary Reading Session and Workshop with Joan Eckroth-Riley

DESCRIPTION: Join nationally recognized music educator and author Joan Eckroth-Riley, as she shares the latest exciting resources for the music classroom. Included are new musicals, song collections, games, activities, and elementary choral octavos. Energize your music program for the entire year!
VanderCook College of Music is offering an hour of graduate-level academic credit for eligible participants. To earn credit, a student must: 1) Attend the Elementary/Classroom New Music Workshops, AND the Middle School/High School New Choral Music Workshop, for a total of 12.5 class hours. 2) Complete the assigned project -- more information is available at the workshop or from VanderCook College. Additionally, each student is encouraged to keep a journal documenting the sessions he or she has attended.
