6507 Winter Tune-Up: Choral Rehearsal Techniques, Tips & Tricks

Reanimate your choir from the dark of winter! Learn fresh ideas and techniques to bring renewed energy to your choral classroom. The main focus of this course is engaging the mind and body beginning with warm-ups, through rehearsals and on to performance. New approaches, "planned spontaneity" with activities, and repertoire suggestions will provide tools you can use for years to come. Inspired music making is what we all strive for, and there are specific ways we can get there as teachers and students. This session will help you discover - or rediscover - some of them.
