Playful Pedagogy II:
Growing into Your Creative Process

Please check back for Spring 2021 course dates.

Online or in person, an engaging and playful learning experience through music and movement can be created and shared with your students. Drue Bullington and Matthew Stensrud, two seasoned Orff Schulwerk teacher educators, will guide you to new creative heights through Playful Pedagogy II.

Are you curious about designing more innovative and creative lessons through Orff Schulwerk? Do you have some experience in Orff Schulwerk but find yourself wanting to take your own lesson-building capabilities further? In this course, we’ll connect the role of play and process teaching in the Schulwerk to the online learning environment. We’ll deepen understandings of foundational aspects of Orff Schulwerk, and explore models that both illustrate those foundations and serve to elevate the human and artistic aspects of music making for young learners and their teachers. Join this course to discover multiple pathways for lesson focus, and craft multiple play- and process-based lessons ready for the classroom.
