Conn-Selmer Institute Connect: Moving Forward Together

Educators registered for the 2021 CSI are eligible to register for the Conn Selmer Institute Retrospective through VanderCook College of Music. The CSI Retrospective allows educators to take the information and experiences from CSI and package it into an electronic portfolio to be referenced for years to come.
 
We encourage you to register before CSI so you can begin your course work. After registration you will have access to the CSI Classroom through our Schoology. On Schoology you will create your profile, upload your list of planned sessions, and begin creating your online portfolio. All materials distributed at any sessions (PDFs, etc.) will be required components in order to complete assignments.
 
Educators must attend at least 15 hours of sessions interviews, lectures and concerts per credit hour they are receiving:
  • 1 graduate credit = 15 hours
  • 2 graduate credits = 30 hours
Upon completion of the CSI Retrospective, participants will submit a written assessment of each event attended in addition to answering several questions for each assessment. All assignments must be completed by July 19, 2021.

Credit Requirements:
 
1. All registrations must be completed and received with full tuition payment by June 20, 2021. 

2. Students must attend 15 hours of concerts, clinics and/or lectures for each semester hour of credit taken.

3. Prior to the conference, students will receive access to Schoology, VanderCook's online platform.

4. All assignments and uploads must be completed and submitted by July 19, 2021.
