Illinois ASTA 2019 Teacher Enrichment Workshop

Earn graduate credit from VanderCook by attending the 2019 IL ASTA Teacher Enrichment Workshop. Students must attend 12.5 clock hours of clinic sessions and concerts for one graduate credit, or 25 clock hours for two credits.

The 2019 Clinic Schedule:

  • Dr. Judy Palac, String Playing & Teaching for Healthy Lifelong Music Making

  • Dr. Stephen Benham, Designing an Effective String Curriculum for Your Studio or School Classroom

  • Timothy Fawkes, Everyone’s in the Picture: Cultivating a Human-Centered String Classroom/Studio

An electronic portfolio is required in order to receive graduate credit. Portfolios should include summaries and critiques of all sessions and/or workshops or concerts attended, as well as copies of all handouts, programs and other supporting materials. Portfolios must be received no later than April 24, 2020.
