July 21, 2016 03:53 PM

Musicality, the vocal ensemble that gained popularity when it first aired on America's Got Talent in June, was one of seven acts, out of 20, to make  the fourth round of judges cuts and advance to next week's live shows. Last night's judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel, all praised the ensemble for their performance and incredible teamwork.  Guest judge, Louis Tomlinson, of One Direction, added "It's incredible to watch you guys perform. The unity and the love you have for each other is so infectious. It was really, really nice,".

When asked by Simon Cowell, what it would mean to win the competition, VanderCook alum Michael Gibson (B'05) stated,  "It would mean that hope is alive for urban youth in America to express themselves through what they love".
