Choral Leaders Scholarship

The American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Student Chapter of VanderCook College of Music supports the professional development of all students interested in a career in choral music education or conducting. In 2019, the ACDA teamed with Director of Choral Studies and Graduate Dean Dr. Robert L. Sinclair to create the Choral Leaders Scholarship, the first VanderCook legacy scholarship focusing on students on the choral track. 

This scholarship recognize students who exemplify VanderCook's core values of strength in character, professionalism in teaching, and excellence in music. It is also recognizes the value of student leadership and volunteerism, and is awarded to students who have a history of community service and hold or have held leadership positions throughout the school.

The Choral Leaders Scholarship is awarded to choral students at the sophomore or junior level who maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. This award is non-renewable, and is awarded at the annual Prism Concert.
