Lead Guitar Student Concert

Lead Guitar establishes year-long residencies of in-school guitar ensemble instruction through a field-tested Arts Standards-based curriculum and teacher training. Their Lead Guitar Teaching Artist visits the classroom weekly for student instruction and teacher training (as needed) and can include individual/small group instruction. The curriculum is accessible online and is supplemented by instructional videos. Each school also participates in an end-of-year Showcase Concert at a local college performance space. We provide access to touring Guest Guitarists (as available) to perform in-school assemblies (or informances) for your broader school population. We also provide access to Lead Guitar’s We Are Guitar YouTube broadcast, which features celebrity guest artists, student ensembles and soloists, and a nationwide virtual guitar ensemble of Lead Guitar partner students along with the featured guest and dedicated to connecting students with inspirational guest artists in dialogue and performance.
