Course Description

This hands-on course is designed specifically for music educators who want to put today’s AI tools to work in their teaching practice. Participants will work with leading AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and NotebookLM, while learning how to write effective prompts, apply proven prompt frameworks, and build efficient AI workflows. Through engaging activities and real-world examples, participants will discover ways to enhance instruction, streamline everyday tasks, generate creative ideas, and increase productivity. By the end of the course, participants will have developed practical AI skills that can be immediately applied to their work as music educators.

Keith Ozsvath

Keith shares his life-long passion for music with the students at Rotolo Middle School in Batavia, Illinois, a nine-time NAMM Best Community for Music Education. In addition to teaching the grade level bands, he leads the Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, and is the Fine Arts Coordinator and Activities Director. Keith teaches courses at VanderCook College of Music & has presented numerous professional development sessions at The Midwest Clinic, Georgia Music Educators Association, Virginia Music Educators Association, Oklahoma Bandmasters Association, and Illinois Music Educators Conference.
