Overview
Note: This is a 4-week course.
MusicFirst is a comprehensive learning management system developed by music educators for music educators. With integrated cloud-based music software and a full suite of teaching and learning tools, music educators can create customized lesson content, assessments and much more, all while delivering instruction within a single sign-on environment. This four-week course takes an in-depth look at MusicFirst’s online classroom and integrated software, and examines best practices for designing engaging lessons that are suitable for the K-12 music classroom or ensemble room. Participants in the course will receive a subscription to the MusicFirst Online Classroom with full access to all of the software offerings for the duration of the course.
Course Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this course you will be able to:

Easily Navigate the MusicFirst Online Classroom;

Set up classes and onboard students;

Easily create tasks, lesson plans and assessments;

Incorporate images, videos and other embedded content in tasks and lessons;

Share lessons with students;

Use the grade book;

Use MusicFirst Content in lessons; and
-
Use MusicFirst integrated music software in tasks and lessons to create engaging activities for music creation, music theory and performance.
