Captivate to Educate: Creating FUN Wherever You Can!

In this course, you will have the opportunity to reshape and reimagine various aspects of your program to be more creative, interesting, and FUN! Each week will focus on a topic that YOU get to decide how to apply to what you’re already doing, or develop something brand new to try! The overall goal of this 8-week session is to give your hard work an innovative facelift, refresh your own motivation, spark interest in potential students, and keep your current musicians excited and engaged!

Topics will include: updating lessons and assignments, amplifying practice routines, enhancing parent-communication, jazzing up fundamentals, upgrading performances, strengthening community outreach, liven up recruitment and retention, nourishing student relationships, and approaching things with a “joy of learning” point-of-view. This course will lean towards programs of younger instrumental learners, but everyone will adaptively benefit and are welcome to join!
