Course Description
A practical walk-through of what really makes a music classroom run smoothly—including the little things you might not even think of as classroom management.
Classroom management in a music room is about much more than correcting behavior. It’s the routines, expectations, transitions, relationships, and small decisions that help students know what to do, when to do it, and how to be successful.
In this session, we’ll look at the everyday pieces of classroom management—from the obvious to the easily overlooked—and talk about practical ways to create a classroom where students are engaged, productive, and ready to make music.
