Minority Teachers of Illinois (MTI) Scholarship Program 2014-2015
PRIORITY DEADLINE! MTI MUST BE COMPLETED ON OR BEFORE MARCH 1, 2014!
The Minority Teachers of Illinois (MTI) Scholarship Program <http://www.isac.org/students/during-college/types-of-financial-aid/scholarships/minority-teachers-of-illinois-mti-scholarship-program.html> is for minority students (must be Illinois resident) who plan to teach in a nonprofit Illinois public, private or parochial preschool, elementary or secondary school that has at least a 30% minority student enrollment. You may qualify for up to $5,000 per year to pay for tuition, fees and room and board, or commuter allowances, if applicable. The MTI Scholarship is administered by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) and may be received for a maximum of eight semesters or twelve quarters.
