Accessing Online Courses
- The VanderCook Online courses are powered by Schoology. Through this learning management system (LMS), you’ll be able to interact directly with your instructor, access course material, submit assignments, and receive feedback. Online courses function similar to traditional in person courses but at times challenges arise. Here are some items that will better ensure your success with an online course.
- Course participants are loaded into Schoology one day prior to the start of the course. If you have taken a MECA course within the past 2 years your credentials should still be active. Otherwise you will receive credentials from the VanderCook IT Department, Wayde Fong ([email protected]) with log-in instructions. Once you are given credentials, simply visit online.vandercook.edu to login using the username and password provided. You will not need an access code. On the first day of class, you will have access to your online class and course material.
- As a Schoology user, you will automatically be added to a user group called ‘VanderCook Community’. This group is not your course, it is a forum for all students enrolled in online courses to meet, chat, and post questions.

Every Gift Matters…
Gifts to VanderCook come in many forms and sizes and each one truly makes a difference. You may wonder how a small contribution can matter to the college – how it can “make a dent.” Combined with other donor gifts, even a relatively minor contribution can make a major impact.
