GRADUATE ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
M.M.Ed. Program
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in music education and a minimum of 60 credit hours in undergraduate music and music education coursework.
- A minimum of one year of teaching experience, or its equivalent, in music.
M.M.Ed. and Certification
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in music performance, composition, musicology or a related field.
- Completion of an audition on an instrument or voice.
Applicants for either of the M.M.Ed. programs should follow the following procedure:

- Send the completed application and a $50 non-refundable application fee prior to May 15th of the first summer or semester of residency to: Download a printable version and complete the Application.

- Submit three letters of recommendation. These letters should be written on the forms included in your graduate application packet.
- Complete a musical audition. For Certification seeking students only, an audition is required. (Audition requirements are available from the Admissions Office.)
