turn your passion
into a profession
If music has been the best part of your life so far, and you want to share that gift with others, come to VanderCook College of Music. Here, you'll acquire the skills, techniques, and insights to teach and inspire music students of all ages.
Sing. Play. Conduct. Teach.
You'll learn to play and teach all 17 instruments in the band and orchestra. You'll also learn piano, conducting, composition, arranging, and even instrument repair.
You'll sing in the choir and play in the band from your first semester here. Unlike some music education programs, VanderCook students perform and take applied music lessons from their first semester to their last.
Can I really do this for a living?
Yes. Over the last five years, 95% of VanderCook students have found jobs in music education within a year of earning their bachelor of music education.
