Conn-Selmer Institute: A Retrospective 2018

All online MECA courses begin on
September 28 and conclude on December 15, 2019.
The registration deadline for online classes is Friday, September 13, at 12:00 noon CST.

Dates for on-campus courses vary; please check each course's page
for specific dates. Registration for all on-campus courses closes two weeks prior to the course start date.

 
Fall 2019 Promotion!
Register for any 3-credit course before August 30 for only $995 (a $55 savings)!
Beginning September 1, regular 3-credit tuition applies ($1,050 for 3 credits)

 
Promotional pricing does not apply to single-credit courses. Tuition must be paid in full in order to receive the promotional pricing.

2018 Conn-Selmer Institute

June 10th - 13th

Conn-Selmer Institute is a four-day workshop presented annually by the Conn-Selmer Division of Education. Meet and mingle with like-minded colleagues from around the country, exchange innovative ideas for program improvement, and enjoy a positive atmosphere that is the signature trademark of the Conn-Selmer Institute event.


Dr. TimLed by Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser, Conn-Selmer Institute is the preeminent event focused on music education.  Held annually in Mishawaka, IN, sessions are focused on recruitment techniques, retention efforts and more. The institute is designed for both new educators looking to further their development, and seasoned educators looking to reconnect and become reinvigorated by their craft. 

VanderCook College of Music is offering up to two semester hours of graduate-level academic credit for eligible participants. To earn credit, a student must attend sessions totaling at least 12.5 clock hours per credit hour, and complete a notebook documenting activities attended. Registration for credit must be sent directly to VanderCook and received no later than July 14th, 2018. The notebook (and paper registration) must be postmarked no later than July 14th, 2018. Full tuition must be enclosed with registration. Registration for graduate credit through VanderCook is separate from the registration fee required to atted the Conn-Selmer Institute. Please visit www.csinstitute.org for more information and details.
