6507 Choral Tune-Up: Rehearsal Techniques, Tips and Tricks

Re-awaken your choir from the dark of winter! Learn fresh ideas and techniques to bring renewed energy to your choral classroom. The main focus of this course will be engaging the mind and body beginning with warm-ups, through rehearsals and into performance. Some "planned spontaneity" with activities, new approaches and repertoire suggestions will provide you with tools you can use for years to come. Inspired music making is what we all strive for, and there are specific ways we can get there as teachers and students. This session will help you discover - or rediscover - some of them.
