You should get more out of a continuing education course than just graduate credit. You should return to your students with new ideas, new strategies, and renewed energy. The Music Education Center of America (MECA) Continuing Education program offers graduate courses for teachers seeking practical knowledge and skills that can be used in their classroom. Up to 12 credits earned in MECA classes can be applied to a master of music education degree at VanderCook College of Music.
Courses are offered in a variety of formats throughout the year. During the summer term, week-long courses on campus are available June through August, in addition to online and off-campus offerings. In the fall and spring terms, weekend, multiple Saturday, online, and off-campus offerings are also available. All MECA courses are designed and scheduled with the working educator in mind.
