MECA Housing, Dining, and Parking

Campus Housing

For inexpensive and comfortable housing, VanderCook's first choice is the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) residence halls.  Register early for reduced rates.  Arrangements for campus housing must be made directly through IIT's Summer Housing/VCM Summer Program website.

VanderCook College of Music does not make housing arrangements for students. Please do not submit housing payments to VanderCook.

Campus Dining

Students staying in IIT campus housing receive a meal plan, however campus dining facilities are open to all MECA Continuing Education students.  Plan options, cost and other information may be found on the IIT Summer Housing/VCM Summer Program  Website.

Campus Parking (see sidebar)

During the fall and spring MECA terms, parking is generally available in the nearby IIT metered parking lots. Most MECA students choose to park in lot A4 - entrance located on State Street, just south of 31st Street. If you receive a ticket for parking illegally on campus, please contact the IIT Parking Office directly. The faculty and staff at VanderCook College of Music have no authority in this matter.
