7927 Producing Effective Educational Media

Educators are finding greater need to provide both audio and video media to their students, who consume more and more content through online channels. With classrooms slowly adopting a “flipped” model (online lectures and collaborative work in school), the ability for educators to produce effective media will continue to play a larger role in the overall education process. This course covers how to record, edit, master, format and upload quality audio and video programs using the IOS (Apple) platform. Students will need a video recording device (camera, smartphone, tablet, or computer), as well as a device to edit audio and video (tablet, or computer). Students will need a way to upload files to platforms such as Sound Cloud and/or YouTube.
