GarageBand for the Music Educator
The newest versions of GarageBand for Mac and iOS (released in October 2013) provide a multitude of music production, recording and learning tools that can be utilized in the classroom. This in-depth course will explore both versions through a variety of tutorials, projects and practical applications. Students will learn how to efficiently navigate the software and how to integrate it in their teaching. Step-by-step instruction will be provided for beginning users, while more advanced users will have opportunities to extend their learning beyond the standard material.
Students are required to have access to both GarageBand for Mac (most current version) and GarageBand for iOS throughout the course. This course is open to all music educators.
