Great Teachers Scholarship
GREAT TEACHERS SCHOLARSHIP
Students in their 3rd year (6th semester) with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 are eligible for a $500 Great Teachers Scholarship award. Additional criteria include passing the Illinois State Board of Education’s TAPS and Music Content area exams and all portions of the VanderCook Teaching Certification Standards Assessment; demonstrating significant progress in the development of the professional teaching portfolio; and completion of the pre-clinical observation hour requirements.
