Rebecca Falls, Percussion & Cara Corrigan, Saxophone Junior Recital
Rebecca Falls was born in Chicago, Illinois. She was inspired to become a music teacher
after she joined the Pioneer Indoor Drumline in 2008, which is under the direction of Adam Hill. Ms. Falls is a percussionist major at VanderCook, but plays the French horn in the symphonic band. Besides attending classes at VanderCook, she also teaches front ensembles for both indoor drumlines and marching bands. After she graduates, Ms. Falls plans on teaching elementary general music and beginning band.
Cara A. Corrigan was raised in Tinley Park, IL just south of the city of Chicago. She is the Vice President, Ritual of the Lambda Delta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota as well as a member of both The National Band Association and National Association for Music Educators. She is a saxophone major with a minor in voice but also plays french horn in both the VanderCook band and the Moraine Valley Community Concert Band. After graduation, Ms. Corrigan plans to earn a degree in Early Childhood with a focus on neurological development and the effect that music has on the brain from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
