This course will explore the wide range of possibilities for the use of “Interactive Whiteboards” (IWB) in the music classroom and is designed for participants with little or no IWB experience. Students will learn the strategies and possibilities to enhance student learning, based upon recent research and best practices. This course will provide students hands-on computer experience with a choice of SMART Notebook software or PROMETHEAN ActivInspire software.

 

Class projects will focus on curriculum-related activities and class management IWB tools. The two-day course will include individual time for students to work on their projects.
