Jonathan Pageis from Chicago, Illinois and is a music education major at VanderCook College of Music. His main instrument is percussion; he has been playing percussion since beginning band in middle school. Throughout his lifetime he has played in numerous ensembles including local bands and has played in a large array of venues from local stages to large amphitheatres. He also toured the country in 2011 with the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps from Dubuque, Iowa. He was inspired by his high school band director to become a music teacher and plans to continue his path making that a reality.
Landen G. Vandever was born and raised in Grant, Michigan, where his involvement in the school bands and choirs sparked his interest to be a Music Educator. In his time at Vandercook, Mr. Vandever has been president of the National Associate for Music Educators, president of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity, an active member of American Choral Directors Association, and also enjoys performing with the acappella group “The Techtonics.” After graduation Mr. Vandever plans on becoming a high school choral director with hopes to pursue a masters degree some point in the future.
