VanderCook College of Music
Transfer Students
Students wishing to transfer into the BMEd or BMped programs go through the same Application Procedure as high school applicants, with the addition of submitting an official college transcript from all institutions attended.*
As VanderCook is committed to the success of each and every student, the dean’s office will prepare and provide a detailed, individualized course plan for transfer students once they’re accepted. This course plan allows transfer students to learn what classes have transferred in, as well as what coursework is outstanding. Outstanding coursework is plotted by semester so that a student knows, before they ever begin classes, when they’ll complete the program.
Here is an example of how VanderCook College of Music prepares transfer students:
VanderCook is working with local community colleges to draft Articulation Agreements and Transfer Guides to ease students’ transitions. If you want to earn an Associate degree then transfer to VanderCook, begin planning early and email us so we can help you choose classes that will transfer here. Every Gift Matters…
Gifts to VanderCook come in many forms and sizes and each one truly makes a difference. You may wonder how a small contribution can matter to the college – how it can “make a dent.” Combined with other donor gifts, even a relatively minor contribution can make a major impact.
