In “At Morning’s First Light”, Dr. Gillingham creates a sensational morning by utilizing thin layers of sound and active lines. Each piece that he composes is a replication of his deepest feelings, and this piece is certainly no exception as he captures a moment of nature awakening. Dr. Gillingham graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a bachelor and master degree in instrumental music education and a PhD in music theory/composition from Michigan State University.
