Participants: Advanced Catholic high school band students selected through director nomination
Objective: This honor band gives Catholic high school students an opportunity to perform quality repertoire with students ranked at the highest performance level.
Since 2004, VanderCook College of Music has hosted the All-Catholic Honor Band, bringing together the best musicians from Chicagoland's Catholic high schools. The band will rehearse during the morning and afternoon, and perform in the early evening.
To nominate students, directors should fill out a nomination form, linked above. Completed nomination forms should be received no later than Friday, December 2, 2011.
Once we have received the nominations, we will let you know which students have been selected and provide you with final festival information. Music will be distributed the day of the festival. Once selection is made, a $40 per student participation fee is due no later than Friday, January 20, 2012. Note: we will only accept payment in total via school check or school purchase order; please do not send personal checks or individual student payments. A credit card payment is also accepted. Please make all checks out to VanderCook College of Music.
Fees cannot be refunded once student is selected, so please nominate wisely. This fee includes a performance T-shirt and lunch. Music will be issued on the day of the festival.
