“Danse Bohémien”by Randall Standridge is a piece based on quick-steps and bohemian dances. It was written because Standridge’s love for quick-steps and because of two extremely talented students in his percussion section. This piece has unexpected dynamic changes to keep the students and audience on the edge of their chairs wanting more. Standridge was given the title of the piece by one of his students, Hayley Denton.
